Handcrafted from 100% soft, double-layered leather, it is easy to use and slips on in seconds. The buddy belt is designed with a material that is `self-healing`. This means that once the material is cut, the edges will not fray. Not only is our leather durable, it softens and moulds to the body for a custom fit. It is very important to note that leather is tear and puncture resistant. Available in black, red, pink and tan. Don`t forget a matching lead! Great dog harness. I've tried many harnesses, but all the ones I had tried bothered her and caused her to cough/choke. I saw this Buddy Belt Harness and bought it. It's perfect for dogs with a collapsed trachea or small breeds that are prone to it. The leather is soft and Lola and I love it.

I like this lead because I have two precious boxers that unfortunately feel they need to walk me. This lead helps in many situations for me because my dogs go everywhere with me and I feel safe around traffic with the traffic lead.

Then I tried the Buddy Belts harnesses and I am hooked. They are adjustable enough to take Bobo from 4 pounds to 9 pounds (he's fully grown now). The harnesses really do mold to the dogs' bodies and they don't pull on their necks at all. Those little plastic squeeze clasps were getting hard for me to open as I get older, particularly as the dogs jumped around. But with Buddy-Belts harnesses, Nina and Bobo just step in to them and then I use the easy-to-close buckle on their backs! With their matching leather leads, they make quite a fashion statement when we go out, Nina all in pink and Bobo all in turquoise (even though my sons would rather I had gotten Nina red and Bobo black!)
