Rio Wheeled Pet Carrier

I am an addicted Muttropolis shopper - but this Rio carrier is at the top of my list of favorite purchases. My daughter and I traveled with her 14 pound Westie from San Diego to Florida, putting the carrier under the seat in the plane. First checking in: the puppy was calm since she could see throught he screened windows. We had 2 suitcases each, a backpack and having wheels on the carrier was a dream. The tether inside the carrier makes it possible for the puppy to have her head out much of the time in the airport and still be secure. When we got to our gate, the puppy was given a snack and a drink from the supplies we had stored in the front zippered compartment. Once on the plane, the carrier fit easily under the seat without removing the wheel unit. The carrier was unzipped and the puppy lay down andwas comfortable with her head resting on my foot for the flight. We wheeled her off the plane and were on our way. This Rio Carrier is well designed, versatile, and very functional.
